Dr. Suzanne van der Feest, (Associate Research Professor, Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences CUNY Graduate Center)
Suzanne van der Feest is an Associate Research Professor at The Graduate Center at the City University of New York. in the Ph.D. Program in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences with a secondary affiliation in the Linguistics Program. She is the director of the Child Language Lab at the Graduate Center. Her research is focused on how children (and some adults) learn their native language(s) in the face of language and dialectal variation, with a focus on phonetic and phonological representations of sounds used for recognizing and producing words.
